High Hopes Challenge #30

When I heard that the High Hopes Challenge #30 was "one of the boys" - I just had to join in the fun. I had a great time doing this great 'jolly roger' pirate ship from High Hopes Rubber Stamps. Thanks to Karen who layered it up for me.
I stamped the image with Memento black ink on Prism smooth white cardstock and used my Copic markers to colour the image.
Yo Ho Ho and a bottle of rum!!! Have a great day everyone.

  3. Joe, I loved this today when I first saw it and I think I love it even more. You did an amazing job. I love how you got part of the sails and boat shinny would really love to know how you did that. Okay you still have tons that I want to learn.

  4. Thank you for visiting my blog and following it. Your comment on my card was very thoughtful, however your coloring is absolutely amazing. I would love to learn copics, but I feel completely comfortable with my Lyra's and mineral spirits. If I could achieve such beautiful work as yours I'd be on copics in no time.
    Thanks again.

  7. I am really in shock and awe here... everything about this is wonderful, from your artistic coloring to Cathy's expert layering and embellishing. Oh I love the colors on the sails, and the pink sunset behind it. Plus the highlighting on the flags. The old coins are the PERFECT embellishment, plus I love how it's distressed and torn. This is something I would frame. It's just gorgeous, and I am so touched that it's one of my drawings too, and one of my personal fav's at that. I LOVE THIS CARD!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for visiting my blog too and leaving kind comments as well. :-)
